Why is this better than a spreadsheet?
Spreadsheets can be a great solution for your company. But they underperform in three major areas: usabiliy, validation, and reporting.
Have you ever used a spreadsheet on your mobile device? It is a nightmare for usability and data entry.
Spreadsheets are also prone to human error. With manual entry without complicated validation formulas, you set yourself for errors.
Finally, payroll is a major pain. You have to aggregate all of the different spreadsheets from many different locations and then manually calculate the payroll. You have to make sure that you are not missing any entries and that you are not double counting any entries.
Why is this better than paper?
Paper, like spreadsheets, are prone to human error. Things like overlapping hours and miscalculations are all too common.
Once payroll comes around, you have to gather all the different sheets of paper and aggregate the data. And then that one employee forgets their time card and you have to track them down and get them to fill it out on the day off. For some reason this always happens on the busiest day of the week.
How are monthly users calculated?
Monthly users are any employees who have made at least 3 entries in the month.
Why $2 per month?
We believe that $2 per month easily covers the cost that paper or spreadsheets are costing you. Just by importing time to payroll, you can easily recoup your cost at this price.
It is also less than all of the competitors we have seen in the time tracking + time off manager space.
Does it work offline?
Trusty Track requires an internet connection to work for admins, managers, and employees.
Do my employees need emails?
You do not have to have emails for your employees. The logins are based on either a username or an email.
If you want to enable advanced features like email reminders, then you will need to enter emails for employees.
Do my employees need phone numbers?
You do not have to have phone numbers for your employees.
If you want to enable advanced features like SMS reminders, then you will need to enter phone numbers for employees.
What pay period lengths do you support?
We support Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly, and Monthly pay periods.
Do you offer self-hosting?
This is not a option we currently offer, but we are not afraid of change.

Do my employees have to download anything?
Trusty Track is only accessible through a web browser so your employees don't have to download a thing. They can access their portal through the web browser of their choosing.
